Puppy Handler Homes
Our Service Dogs in Training need to be socialized with a variety of people in a variety of homes and public settings. They need to be taken into foster homes on weekends, a few days a week, or for several months.
What do you need to become a Puppy Handler Home?
Lifeline Canines will have an interview with you and visit your home.
You need take a 12 hour training class. Minimum commitment-6months.
What are your responsibilities?
Caring for dog in your home, transporting dog to and from Lifeline Canines, following commands and rules set forth by Lifeline Canines for the dog, taking dog on public outings as appropriate, provide food and some supplies if able.
